DuPont honors employees in the DuPont Volunteer Recognition program each year. Established in 1998, the program recognizes employees or teams of DuPont employees who devote their time and talents to improve the quality of life in their communities. On behalf of each honoree, $1,000 is donated to the organization that received the community service.

Two ICIA members, Zuo-Yu Zhao and Zhanshan Dong, have been recognized in the program. Zuo-Yu is a director of the ICIA Board and the honor principal of Iowa Chinese Language School (ICLS). Zhanshan is the president of the ICIA. Congratulation to Zuo-Yu Zhao and Zhanshan Dong, the winners of 2010 DuPont Volunteer Recognition Program!
